Day out at the zoo

Me and my boyfriend have been working a lot just lately so went wanted a full day of fun and relaxation, no cooking, no working, just relaxing. We went to Yorkshire wildlife park. We had lunch there first, I had a jacket potato with cheese and he had a bacon a bri panini, it was delicious and so was the pure Apple juice. We loved walking around looking at all the animals, we stroked the wallabies and saw the baboons being a little inappropriate of you no what I mean, but it was a lovely day. To finish it of we went for a pub lunch and had a cheeky alcoholic beverage. It was a perfect day and made us even more excited to have a week of relaxing on holiday.

What do you like to do to relax?

Tell me about your perfect day, Danielle x

Think like a blogger challenge

Lily Melrose wrote a post called Think like a blogger where she talks about the fact that you don't have to spend loads of money on products just to create good blog content you can blog about anything even if it's just going for a walk.

She has now set herself a Challenge to daily blog but only using things she already has or things she already has planned to do like an outing.

I absolutely love this idea, I love watching daily vlogs so why not daily blog. So I have also set myself the challenge. I only have two days at work this upcoming week so that gives me plenty of time to create a blog post everyday. I will only create posts on things that I already have or things that I already have planned to do. I have a couple of products and a few ideas of what I'm going to do but I don't yet have enough ideas for 7 posts so we will see what happens.

I will be starting this challenge tomorrow, Friday the 31st of July, if you would like to follow my little challenge you can. Let me know if you try out this challenge and leave me a link to your blog so I can follow your challenge.

Misguided haul

Slinky long sleeve wrap playsuit navy -usually £20 on sale for £8

This is my favourite out of everything, the hanger doesn't do much for it but it is so flattering on and for £8 it is a complete bargain.

I love this dress I've done a previous blog post on it you can read it Here. The dress is so comfortable and looks lovely on.

This has to be my favourite colour, I love it on my pale skin but I think it would also look gorgeous with a tan. The gaps in the shoulders make the dress look less simple and still keeps you cool, great for those holiday evenings.

Floral swing dress with white t-shirt underlay dress floral  -usually £20 but is on sale for just £8!

I've been after a dress like this for a while and for the bargain price of £8 I couldn't resist. It is so simple and pretty and perfect for a British summer, the sleeves help to keep you warm as we all know British summers aren't  always the warmest but we still want to look summery.

Strappy skater dress coral -usually £10 on sale for £8

This is a perfect holiday colour and the dress fits perfectly it is so flattering to the body. The back has cross straps and you can get the dress in a range of colours if you don't like it in coral.

Jeressah floral print split hem t shirt pink -usually £12.99 on sale for £5

This oversized t-shirt is perfect to throw on when your in a Rush and want to look like you've made an effort without actually making an effort. It is the Perfect length to wear with leggings so you don't even need to make an effort on the bottom half either.

Cornella scuba pleated skater skirt white -usually £12 on sale for £8

This skirt sits perfectly on the waist which is perfect if your like me and a little conscious about your stomach as it covers it all completely. I love wearing this with a coloured crop top.

I could no longer find this on the misguided website but it may come back on. This is some comfy and is great to throw on if you actually have nothing to wear!

Buckled gladiator sandal tan  -usually £15 on sale for £8

Even though these sandals have a heal they are unbelievably comfy. The only down side is with them been white they get dirty easily and it doesn't always wipe clean but putting that to a side they add something to an outfit and give a little hight to us shorter girls.

And that's everything I got, I have absolutely been loving misguided to stock up for my summer holiday, now all that is left is to go on holiday!

What is your favourite item? Are you going on a summer holiday?

Danielle x

MAC Rebel

I actually went into MAC looking for a pink summery colour and ended up going in the complete opposite direction and geting Rebel and deep purple colour. I like to wear a lot of black, white and grey shades so I bought this lipstick to give my outfits abit of a pop and liven them up abit. It certainly does that and has great staying power, I think this colour will be lovely in autumn.

What's in my bag

I saw this post on Emma and the beauty blog I loved having a nosey inside her bag and thought it would be a fun post to do, so I gave it a go.

Here's a peek inside my bag . . .

My bag is a Pastle blur mini tote bag from new look and my purse is a fake Michael kore from Turkey.

Deodorant ~
This roll on deodorant is the sent far away from Avon, it is my favourite everyday sent and lives in my handbag for those busy days.

Liz Earle had cream ~
This is a new addition to my handbag as it was a free gift with my Liz earl purchase. I love the gel texture of it and having it my handbag reminds me to put some on every time I'm in there rummaging for something.

Sun glasses ~
These are the Half frame sunglasses in black from misguided. I always have a pair in my bag in the summer as you never know when the sun might come out.

Umbrella ~
You might find it a bit strange that I have sunglasses and an umbrella in my bag but in the British summer its rains just as much as sun the comes out sometimes even more.

Dairy and pen ~
I don't have to much to write in a dairy but I make a few hospital appointments and sometimes change my work schedule a bit so this mini dairy is perfect for writing small amounts in and fits perfectly in the small pocket of my handbag.

Sun cream ~
My skin is about as pale as you can get, even in the tiniest bit of sun my skin burns so I always carry
sun cream on me to protect my pale skin.

Mirror ~
I'm not one of those people that can top up there lipsticks in there phone screens, I need to see clearly what I'm doing so I always carry a small mirror around with me.

Hair brush ~
When you have a full fringe it constantly needs brushing so a hair brush is a must in my handbag.

Tictac's and chewing gum ~
I buy chewing gum have a few peices then forget I have it so I usually have a few old peices laying around in the bottom of my bag some where. I picked up these strawberry tictac's firm primark and these are delicious.

And that's all I have in my bag, I usually have a lipstick in there that Im wearing that day but I change that daily so it's never in there long.

I'd love to have a peek in your bag, leave me the links to your posts.

Things that have made me smile ~ week one

I have seen many bloggers writing a post every Sunday about things they have enjoyed doing that week and I think it is a lovely idea. I'm a bit of a dweller and a stress head so I will always remember the not so good or happy things that have happened that week, so I thought this would be lovely way to forget about those things and remember five good things that have happened or things that have made me happy, so here we go.

This weeks Things that have made me smile are . . .

One. Spending some quality time with my partner at the zoo, seeing lots of different animals and been able to sing 🎵were going to the zoo zoo zoo 🎵(if you have children or work with them you will probably know this song).

Two. Indulging in a takeaway and just relaxing watching Netflix.

Three. Finding a dress I've wanted for ages half price in the sale.

Four. Putting more lighter colours in my hair ready for the sunshine on holiday.

Five. Buying some colourful photo frames for my living room to brighten up the place and look back at wonderful memories everyday.

Doing this just helps me to remember the happy things in life ready to start a fresh new week. What's has made you smile this week?

Zoellas new beauty range

As you all properly know Zoe sugg has brought out a new beauty range, a tootie fruity collection, and it really does smelly fruitily amazing!
There are seven new products . . .

I picked up the Let's spritz body mistScrubbing me softly body scrub and Candy creamy body lotion.

I used the body scrub whilst in the bath I rubbed it all over my skin and washed it away with warm water. This already left my skin feeling smooth, then I added the candy creamy body lotion which left my skin feeling ultra smooth and smelling fruity. The body lotion rubbed in straight away so you don't have to spend ages dancing around the room waiting for it to soak in (unless you enjoy doing that) but for a quick easy application is great for when you don't have a lot of time.

I love the smell of the lets spritz body mist it's so summery, I'll be wearing it all summer long and will defiantly be adding it to my holiday essentials. The packaging of this is so pretty the White pattern on the back shows through onto the front making it look so lovely.

The lovely pinks and yellows on all of the products are so pretty and make the range so eye catching and appealing.

I can't wait to try out the other products. Which ones have you used? What do you think to the products?

Switching from an iPhone

My phone was due an upgrade and I new I didn't wont another iPhone. I no many people love them but Id had a few problems with mine and was just getting really fed with it so I wanted a change. I did really want a a Samsung Galaxy s6 but I was out of my price range. The women in the shop recommended the Samsung A3, I hadn't heard of it so I had a little play with it in the shop and I decided to get it.

I love it, its so easy to use and doesn't have the service problems I had with my iPhone. If you currently have an iPhone or another phone and are looking for a change I would recommend getting a Samsung. My partner got the Samsung Galaxy s6 and it is amazing aswell.

Will you ever switch from an iPhone?
