April favourites

April has been a bit of a whirl wind month, I got engaged, payed of my holiday, booked v festival tickets and went on lots of walks. I think I can go as far as saying this has been the best month of the year so far! I didn't have the best start to the year but this month has really made me feel better about the year. I'm going into my last month of uni and have so many things to look forward to! So many things have been my favourite this month it was hard to just pick a few, but here they are . . .

  1. Urban decay palettes, I added the naked palette to my collection this month and have enjoyed experiment with naked, naked 3 and naked smokey palettes. I just need naked 2 to complete my collection now.
  2. Spectrum Marbleous brushes, I had to have these as soon as I saw them, they are so pretty and soft. I've used them everyday since I bought them.
  3. Lyla loves jewellery, I bought a view peices from here this month and have loved pairing them with different outfits.
  4. Benefit bo-ing concealer, I've being using a sample of this under my eyes and over any blemishes. It is perfect for covering dark circles and blemishes I need the full size product.
  5. Lush bath bombs, I think these are my favourite every month, but I don't think my Sunday night bath would be the same without them. Since using one a week my skin feels so much smoother, and they are great for winding down ready for an early night in preparation for the week.
  6. Barry m coconut infusion nail varnishes, I have three of the nine shades in this collection but I have loved all of the shades I have. They look pretty and nourish your nails at the same time!
  7. Asos cat shoes, these shoes have been a favourite since I bought them, they go with so many things and just add somthing to my outfit. I know I'm going to live in these this summer.
  8. Jean Paul gaultier classique perfume, Ive wanted this perfume for ages, it smells so pretty and floral.
  9. My engagement ring, I had to have this on here, it's such a happy moment and I love it so much.
  10. Music favourite, I have being loving Meghan Trainor this month, Im listening to her now whilst writing this. All her songs are so catchy and she has an amazing voice.
What have been your favourites this month?

High street underwear

I love Victoria secret underwear, they are so pretty and amazing quality but the price is a little to much for me. The prices go up on the bras as the sizes go up so being a 34DD they can get expensive.
Underwear has to be comfortable but I also like it to be pretty, you won't to feel good and pretty in it too.
New look have some very pretty lingerie in a range of colours, sizes and patterns. I love lace detailing, it looks so soft, sexy and adds a luxury touch. I've never bought a longline bra before as I thought the material would just bunch up but it actually sits in place comfortably and looks really nice. This Pink contrast lace longline bra is a soft pink all over with white lace outlining the cups and a white lace band at the bottom. With it being a longline bra it has five fasteners at the back, which is gives so much support. You can purchase this bra from New look for £12.99.

What is a bra without the matching bottoms, the bottoms to this bra is a thong. It is a matching pink colour to the bra with pink and white layered lace and a small white bow. You can purchase it from New look for £5.99 and all briefs are on 3 for 2.

Feel unique and naked palettes

I first discovered Feel unique through uni days, uni days is an app for students which has loads of great student discount codes on for so many places. Feel unique always have 10% off for students but occasionally have extra discounts on. They sell many brands like, Zoella beautyLiz EarleBenefitRimmel and many more. The brand that caught my eye was Urban decay, I've had my eye on their Naked palettes for a while. With the temptation of 20% off and free delivery on orders over £15 how could I resist. I purchased my palettes at different times, I didn't want to hurt my bank balance all in one go, and I now have three of the naked palettes.
Urban decay naked | £38.50
Each palette has a selection of 12 beautiful colours, the basic palettes is a collection of natural Matte, satin and shimmer shades. Naked 3 has a gorgeous selection of pink shades and a deep black shade, I love this palette to create a pink, girly, Spring look. The newest addition is the smokey palette, made up of many smokey shades to create the ultimate smokey eye!
The colours glide on to the eyelid easily and blend so well, each palette comes with a double sided brush, and these are the type you would won't to add to your brush collection. Each palette is perfect for different things, and once you have one you will won't them all!

To help out those who don't have the delight of student discount you can click this link, http://referme.to/d8aff1o which will take you straight to the feel unique website and give you a code for 15% off. They do free delivery for any order over £15 and so many great brands.

Let me know if you Purchase any products.

Lyla loves jewellery

Jewellery is something I tend to forget about wearing, but I actually love what it can do to an outfit. I came across Lyla loves on Instagram and feel in love with their unique, quirky pieces. I placed an order of a couple of necklaces and rings.
Gold stone ring | £3.50
Crystal white ring | £3.50
All the pieces came beautifully packaged on a cardboard piece with thier logo and wrapped in lovely tissue paper complete with their Lego. They even added a free gift which was a gorgeous three layered necklace.

All the prices at Lyla loves are such a great price, I was shocked at how cheap they were for such unique peices. They also price match any products if you find them cheaper and offer a free return if you don't like a product when it arrives.

They add new products every week so there is always something new to look at.

If you would like to place on order you can click this link http://lylaloves.refr.cc/JMHKQN4 to get 20% off. It will give you your discount code then take you straight to their website.
Happy shopping!

Spectrum brushes | Marbleous collection

If you haven't seen this brush collection, where have you been!? It has to be one of the most 'instagramable' brush sets I've seen. They are just so pretty!

The complete collection is made up of 12 brushes, 4 for the face and 8 for the eyes. As a complete collection the price is £64.99 but you can purchase the face and eye set separately. The face set is £34.99 and the eye set is £34.99.
The brushes are pure white then turn to a gorgeous rose gold on the base, then the bristles are a deep grey shade at the bottom changing to pure white again at the ends. As well as being super pretty the bristles are so soft.
The four brushes in the Face collection are, B01 top buffer, B02 domed buffer, C03 tulip powder and C04 angled powder. B01 and B02 are perfect for applying foundation and powder. This is the first time I've used a buffer brush for applying foundation and I loved it, it gave me so much more coverage and blended in really well. I use the domed buffer to lightly apply a setting powder after my foundation, it applys beautifully and the bristles feel so soft against the skin. C03 and C04 are perfect for contouring and applying blush to the cheeks.
I have been investing in a couple of high end makeup palettes at the moment so I purchased these brushes to assist them. With a range of eight brushes there is a brush for everything, I use the wider brushes to apply colour all over the lid and the small ones for adding detail. They are super soft on the lid which is great if you have sensitive eyes and the blend like a dream! The eye brushes are, B06 tall tapered blender, B04 small angled shader, A08 medium fluffy shader, A06 large fluffy shader, A07 stubby shader, A12 fluffy pencil, A13 short smudge and C06 tulip eye contour.
The final part of the collection is the Marbleous White bag, it is a medium size which fits all the brushes in with plenty of room for your makeup essentials. It is a gorgeous marble pattern with a rose gold logo plate and rose gold zip to finish it of.
Not only do they look so pretty on my dressing table they are super soft and great quality, I would highly recommend them if your on the hunt for a new set of brushes!

Soap that looks good enough to eat!

At Christmas my mum got me the cutest cupcake shaped soap that I loved so much I couldn't bring my self to use as I didn't won't to ruin it. When I saw Just jodes video unboxing some gorgeous products from the same shop I just couldn't help myself I had to place an order. Just jodes has a discount code on her unboxing video for 10% you can find Here
The Yorkshire soap company hand make the products and are know for their beautiful hand crafted soaps. There is something for everyone, but just remember they look good but they won't taste good!

I chose three products, two soaps and a bath truffle.
The first being a Yorkshire rose cake slice, looking good enough to eat this soap comes in a lovely little box complete with ribbon and a tag, perfect to give as a gift. As soon as I opened the packaging I could smell the sweet rose scent. This is a white cake slice shape with a strip of pink going through the middle, sprinkled with glitter on the top and a cute 'icing' decoration. I don't know how I'm going to bring my self to use this but I no it will leave my skin smelling amazing!
Price | £5.00
The second product I added to my basket was a Raspberry ripple soap bar. This just comes in clear packaging but is still just as nice. You can smell this product before peeling back the packaging and it smells delicious. It is a clear bar with an ice cream effect pink swirls at the top. This bar is great for moisturising your skin.
Price | £3
The final product I bought was the Strawberry and poppyseed bath truffle. It is just the cutest little thing, with its sweet strawberry smell and little case you just cant help but be drawn to this. I've never had a bath truffle before but it's just like a bath bomb just just drop it into a full hot bath, get in and enjoy!
Price | £2.50
I wanted to share these products with you so I ordered an extra Raspberry ripple soap bar that you can win! To enter all you need to do is follow me on Instagram and Twitter. The competition will end on Monday the 11th of April, the winner will be contacted through Instagram and Twitter. Good luck!

Spring OOTD

As soon as I saw this outfit on zoella in a picture she posted on her Instagram I new I had to have. I never owned a two piece so this was something new for me, the plain white with little colourful details is what drew me to it. It is pretty and quirky without being in your face. The sleeves are a three quarter length with a frayed finish at the ends. I think the trousers are slightly cropped too but I only have short legs so everything is full length on me. I did roll up the bottoms on mine to make them a little cropped. I first saw the pastel pink cat shoes on Freddy Cousin-Brown's Instagram and just like before I feel in love! (Instagram is a cause for a lot of my purchases). They are from Asos but they took me a while to get my hands on, they are forever out of stock. I kept the page in my tab for days and kept constantly refreshing the page through out the days. (A Bit sad you may think but they are just so pretty) when they finally had one pair in my size I quickly ordered them and then did a little happy dance around my living room! The cuteness and quirkiness of these shoes make them perfect to wear with Zara two piece.
Top and trousers | Zara | Top - £25.99 | Trousers - £29.99
Shoes | Asos - £25 now on sale for £17.50
Rings | primark -£2.50
Earrings | primark -£1.00
Watch | Daniel Wellington - £159
Lipstick | Mac - snob £15.50
