Revlon makeup

I usually stick with Rimmel makeup and always get the same products. When my makeup started to run low I decided it was time for a change. I browsed the differnt counters and decided on Revlon.

I picked up the 24 hours Revlon Colour stay foundation in 110 Ivory. This gives of a beautiful even coverage and really lasts for the full day. The only thing I didn't like is it doesn't have a pump so you just have to be careful when pouring it out. - £12.49

Revlon Colour stay concealer in 01 fair. Being pale I struggle to find a concealer in a light colour that fully covers up my spots and blemishes but this worked perfectly. - £6.99

Revlon Photoready powder in 010 fair/light. This does exactly what it says leaves your skin flawless and "photo ready". It comes with a little mirror inside which is great for on the go and a small brush, which lets face it are never the best brushes to use but it does the job. - £11.29

I'd never tried Revlon products before but I'm glad I did I I think I will stick with them for a while.

These products are little bit more expensive than the rimmel products but I think they are worth that little bit more. These products were on 3 for 2 and you got a free Revlon Lash potion by grow luscious mascara when you by three products. Which I think is a great deal as you still get it with the 3 for 2 offer. The mascara has a triple wand groove which creates volume without clumps.

Have you tried these makeup products? What's your favourite drug store brand?

May favourites

I like to see what everybody has been loving in the past month, so I thought I would share with you what my favourites have been this month.

Favourite lipstick - Syrup by MAC

Favourite nail varnish - Barry m lap of honour

Since getting a full fringe hair rollers have become part of my morning routine to keep it curved and bouncy.

Favourite skin product - Nivea Firming lotion and Firming body oil

Favourite food - peanut butter kit Kat chunky. If you like peanut butter then you will love these just as much as me, they are just delicious (that's why there's two).

Favourite hair product - provoke touch of silver, brightening shampoo and intensive conditioner. I died my ombré and these products really shifted those ginger tones. They are great for anyone working is trying to go blonde, they get you out of the ginger stage really fast.

Clothing favourite - new socks, everyone has to love that feeling you get when you out on new socks, there so soft and comfy. There even better in lovely pastel shades, this pack of five was £2.50 from primark.

Finally this jewellery hanger from primark has been a god send. I usually don't bother with jewellery as there always in a tangled mess in a draw but since I got this it has been so much easier and I now wear jewellery most days.

Spring lipstick

have been loving lipsticks recently I never use to wear them but now that I've started I just can't stop. I've been wearing a lot of darker shades for the winter months and realised I didn't really have any spring shades.

While out shopping I nipped into Mac to see what they had. I picked up this lovely dark pink glossy shade called syrup. I love the colour and the name. It's the perfect shade for spring and would look lovely with a pink cheek.

On the Mac website it is described as a cloudy pink and is a lustre finish. It looks a little glossy on the lips but sits lovely and has great staying power.

The next lipstick on my wish list is Pervette which is a pink shade with a violet shimmer.

What lipsticks are on your wish list for spring?

Spring home decor wish list

I always change the clothes in my wardrobe to suit the seasons but I always like to change little things in my home to suit the season too. One of the easiest ways I find to do this is to change the cushions on my sofas. My sofa is grey and my walls are cream so the cushions on my sofa can be any colour or style that I like. I loved lots of the cushions from tesco so I put together a little wish list.

Hello sunshine £8

Beautiful £8

Colourful bold pattern £8

life is short £6

Vintage £4.50

Wasting time £7.64

Pretty please £6

Cupcakes £11.25

These cushions would really brighten up my living room and make it feel summery. Bright colours really help to lift my mood so I can't wait to get my hands on some of these cushions.

Which ones your favourite?
